Waterclose Meadows Campsite is a tranquil spot to unwind in, with lovely walks around the picturesque meadows of the Ouse valley. Set on the edge of the delightful twin villages of Houghton and Wyton the campsite has pubs and a village shop an easy stroll away
You can either enjoy the delightful surroundings or use the site as a base to explore the historic city of Cambridge, or local National Trust properties, Anglesey Abbey, Wicken Fen Nature Reserve or Wimpole Hall Estate.

54 caravan / motorhome pitches with electric hook-up (max outfit length eight metres), 15 tent pitches - some with electric hook-ups, Flat grass pitches - no hardstandings. 2 camping pods, each sleeping up to 4 people (but no pets).

An idyllic campsite situated in a peaceful location with beautiful views over the Ouse valley.
This large site offers caravan pitches, all complete with electric hook-ups, and tent pitches, some of which also have electric points available. With no hard standings on the site, all pitches are flat grass.
The campsite boasts a number of facilities including a toilet block with disabled facilities, a chemical toilet disposal point, fresh drinking water, laundry facilities, a small shop selling basic items and gas and a nearby tea room.
Situated right next to the twin villages of Houghton and Wyton, Waterclose Meadows is close to a number of cosy traditional pubs and a handy village shop.
A little further afield, we have a number of fascinating properties and places in the area including Anglesey Abbey, Wicken Fen Nature Reserve and Wimpole Hall Estate.
