Our farm provides charming surroundings in which to relax and unwind, as well as a very warm welcome from O’Dell, whose family have farmed locally for five generations.
Visitors to Brighthouse Farm can enjoy large landscaped gardens stocked with interesting trees, shrubs and flowers. These stretch out into open fields with a wide variety of birds, including resident owls and pheasants, and wild animals such as hares, squirrels and even the odd deer.
Situated in the quiet village of Lawshall, seven miles from Bury St Edmunds, Brighthouse Farm provides the ideal location from which to explore the Suffolk countryside and its attractions.
We are close to two village pubs serving real ales and excellent food. Attractions in the surrounding area include National Trust properties, the nearby coastal towns of Felixstowe and Lowestoft, picturesque Lavenham and the medieval village of Clare.
Experience the stunning Suffolk countryside up close with a stay at the Brighthouse Farm caravan and camping site.
Our six-acre campsite is flat and grassy with non-regimented pitches to allow campers to pitch easily and comfortably.
We have mature and newly planted trees throughout the site as well as some wonderful panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. We keep our site well maintained with neat and tidy grass.
We have created walks from the campsite to the main village – giving campers easy access to the village shop and pub, serving great food and guest ales. There is also a 1.5-mile farm walk which is exclusive to our guests.
