Mellow Farm is a small, family farm on the beautiful Hampshire-Surrey border, lying between the sandy heathlands of Frensham Common, the clays of Alice Holt Forest and the chalk of the Downs.
The campsite is also close to Alice Holt Forest and Go Ape, the Shipwright’s Way, Frensham Commons and Ponds as well as the towns of Farnham and Winchester. Jane Austen’s house at Chawton is a short distance away, as is Alton and the Watercress Line.
We also have two venues available for hire; the Medieval Barn for larger parties such as wedding receptions and the Chicken Shed for smaller ones and business seminars.
We are open from the beginning of May until the end of September for weekends only. Please note the earliest arrival time is midday Friday.
There are also many attractions around Mellow Farm. Around Farnham are Go Ape, Alice Holt Forest, Tilford Rural Life Centre, Frensham Ponds and Commons, Farnham Castle and Birdworld; near Alton the Curtis Museum, the Watercress Line, Jane Austen’s House and Gilbert White’s House: towards Petersfield, Hollycombe Steam Fair and Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
There are plenty of pubs in the area as well, several within walking distance.
